Your Tropical Pathways Investment Tour begins:

√ You will depart either Houston or Miami International Airports on a flight which will deliver you in two and a half hours to the tropical Island of Roatan.

√ As you fly over the Island, you will see the lush vegetation and gently sloping mountains of Roatan from your plane window. You may even see a small fishing village, or one of the many white sand beaches, if you look closely. The Roatan International Airport boasts a runway that will take a 757.

√ You will be driven to the Roatan Dive & Yacht Club in French Harbour. The Roatan Dive & Yacht Club, fronting the pier, will provide you with an air conditioned room complete with cable television.  From this local landmark, leave each day to explore various areas and aspects of Roatan.  In the evenings, we'll gather on the expansive deck by the pool with a spectacular view of the Caribbean sea.

√ You will meet the business people who will tell you about the local government. You will also learn how to purchase property, how to become a resident, and what taxes to expect, if any.

√ You will learn about the medical services available. A representative from the Bay Islands Tourism Association will tell you what plans exist for the future. A local realtor will discuss your many real estate options. Expatriates will let you pick their brains.

√ You will visit the nearby Las Palmas development where you can walk the gleaming white sand, snorkel the spectacular underwater world of the second longest reef in the world, or simply relax on the veranda.

√ You will explore the scenic east end of Roatan by air conditioned bus, stopping at Punta Gorda, a Garifuna village, where you will be entertained by the traditional Indian group.

√ You will be taken on a boat tour through the mangroves to Oak Ridge, Fiddler's and Calabash Bights, stopping to lunch on sumptuous local sea delicacies at a local eatery.

√ You will have a chance to explore the premiere resort community of Lawson Rock. This expansive residential development offers a marina, along with hiking trails, sandy beach and tropically landscaped common areas. You will have a chance to experience their spectacular views as well as inspect some of their already built villas. You can be in on the ground floor of this elegant growing community.

√ A special treat awaits you the night we enjoy the International cuisine of the Argentinian Grill, a gourmet restaurant fronting Half  Moon Bay and offering both fine steak and seafood entrees.

√ You will also pay a visit to Palmetto Bay Plantation which is a 109 acre tropical residential community. Here you will find botanical gardens, a lovely dock for viewing the spectacular Roatan sunsets, and sparkling pool nestled next to a large, open-air palapa bar. There is even a tropical bird reserve here where the protected bright green parrots of Roatan rise up in great numbers from their tree perches at sunrise each morning. You will be invited to enjoy a tropical drink by the pool, go kayaking or simply wander the many pathways discovering the exotic flowers and trees.

√ You will visit the village of French Harbor where you will dine at Romeo's Restaurant which specializes in an extensive selection of fresh seafood and Italian specialties. As you enjoy your view from the dock overlooking the water, Romeo may spin a few tales of local Island life for your enjoyment.

√ There will be a special walking tour of uncrowded West Bay Beach, arguably Roatan's finest beach, with an opportunity to view several real estate possibilities. 

√ And, of course, no tour would be complete without the chance to shop for presents and remembrances of your adventure. We will vistit shopping areas where you can find a large variety of surprisingly sophisticated local crafts and products by featured Roatan and Honduran artisans.
